So, this is my first proper attempt at documenting my RPGs and wargames into something a little more coherent—a story I can look back on later. To keep things simple (and keep future me from getting confused), I’ll be breaking down each campaign session into two parts: gameplay and story. Together, they’ll give me a full picture of what went down.

Each gameplay and story entry will be linked to each other so I can jump between the crunchy bits and the narrative whenever I need to.

Gameplay

This is where I log the dice rolls, character sheets, and all the other bits and bobs that make up the mechanics of the session. It helps me keep track of what actually happened. Character sheets will have their own entries and always reflect the most current version of a character in the campaign.

Story

Once a session wraps up, I’ll write the story version—something more fun and cohesive. It’s my chance to turn the gameplay into a proper tale, complete with dialogue, extra flavor, and anything else that makes it more enjoyable to read (especially for me down the line).
