Gaming Solo gaming reset

Phoenix Rising

Why I am returning to solo gaming, and why I want to keep the next projects practical enough to actually reach the table.

I have been wanting to get some gaming going again. The last thing I played was earlier this year: a small 2v2 One Page Rules Grimdark Future game built around Warhammer 40,000 models. Since then, the real constraint has not been interest. It has been time.

Because of that, I have been leaning back into solo play. Solo RPGs were the first obvious fit, but solo wargaming has been in the background for years and I finally want to give it real table time instead of just leaving the books on the shelf.

This note is mostly a reset point for the Gaming section. I want the next projects to stay small, use the books and models I already own, and stay honest about what I have actually played versus what I am only preparing.
